Full morocco with 2 raised bands and decoration in blind and gilt, cover hsows minro wear and rubbing, fading on the spine, small crack at the crown of the spine. Beautiful turn-ins with decoration in red and gilt, vignette doublures on both pastedowns with gilt tooling (an almost Jansenist-style with the simple outside case). Chemical marbling to the free endpapers with some offsetting around the edges. Pages are lightly tanned and clean. A beautiful edition in a unique binding with many illustrations. VeryGood.
