Francis Rolt-Wheeler was an English writer and esotericist who was the brother of English poet and journalist Ethel Rolt Wheeler. He studied theology at the University of Chicago, where he obtained a doctorate. As an orgained Anglican priest, he worked as a hospital chaplain in New York before goint to Carthage, Tunisia, to found the Astrological Institute of Carthage. Settling in Nice, France, he married Yvonne Belaz and devoted himself to wriing works on esotericism, astrology, and occultism. He coined the term astrosophy and founded L'Astrosophie, a journal of esotericism. 4to. Handwritten, profusely illustrated, signed by the author.
